Delete your data without deleting your account
Saisha Health, published by Maelle Health Technologies Pvt Ltd.
How to delete your data, in the app
- To remove a single cycle or symptom entry: open the entry and tap Delete.
- To bulk‑delete tracking data or clear your chat history: go to Settings → Privacy & Data → Delete My Data and choose what to remove.
- Bulk deletions ask for a one‑time code to confirm it’s you. Deleting a single entry does not.
What you can delete this way
- Individual tracking entries — a single day’s cycle or symptom log.
- Tracking data before a date — everything logged before a date you choose.
- All tracking data — your entire cycle and symptom history.
- Your chat history — your copies of messages and uploaded files.
- Profile fields that aren’t required to keep your account active.
To close your account entirely instead, see Delete your account.
What can’t be selectively deleted
Clearing your chat history removes the content from your account, not from the consultation record:
This removes the content from your account. Consultation records, including messages exchanged with your practitioner, are retained as part of the clinical record.
This protects both patients and practitioners: a consultation record can’t be destroyed by either side. The same retention rules apply as for full account deletion:
| Data | On account deletion | Kept for | Why |
|---|---|---|---|
| Profile, auth identities, sessions, devices, push tokens | Erased | — | — |
| Cycle / symptom / health tracking data | Erased | — | — |
| Doctor–patient communications (chat, attachments, video records), prescriptions, care plans | Retained, frozen | 3 years | Clinical record-keeping + evidence preservation |
| Payment, invoice, order records | Retained, frozen | 8 years | Indian tax and company law |
| Safety reports + evidence | Retained, frozen | 90 days post-resolution (extended by legal holds) | Platform safety |
| Any class under legal hold | Withheld | withheld until the hold releases, then processed per this matrix | Legal obligation |
| Analytics | Deleted or anonymised | — | — |
Retained records are unlinked from your profile, access-restricted, and used only to meet these obligations. In rare cases some data may be kept longer where the law requires it.
If some data can’t be removed
Occasionally we can’t remove data right away because it must be retained to meet a legal obligation. If that happens you’ll see:
Some data couldn’t be deleted right now because it must be retained to meet legal obligations. It will be processed automatically when that obligation ends.
We can’t share the specific reason.
